Confetti Grapeberry recessiveness - Kayla Woodrunner - 01-02-2017 09:15 AM Since there is no Grapeberry thread. I'll start one in case people are interested in looking at charts on Grapeberry specifically. I am copying posts from other threads on findings. From Orangeberry thread: 05-12-2016, 08:29 AM Post: #4 Arwen Swordthain Offline Chatty Cat **** RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here as you can see from this sibling breed the GrapeBerry is rec to the OrangeBerry ![]() ---end of post --- Quickie analysis both mom and dad share the same parents: Marge and Homer Marge and Homer produced the Dad Ashes Orangeberry shown So either Marge or Homer hides Orangeberry Ashes will hide Orangeberry or something more recessive Dad Ashes was bred with his full sister Zepu cocoberry showns their Child shows Grapeberry If Zepu had received the Orangeberry hid, Orangeberry would have shown since Ashes shows Orangeberry. Ashes can only throw Orangeberry or something more recessive (his hid). So Zepu got the other hid. Since Grapeberry shows, both Zepu and Ashes have to hide Grapeberry. Zepu can only hide Orangeberry or the same hid as Ashes Both siblings hide Grapeberry so Grapeberry has to be recessive to Orangeberry and RE: Confetti Grapeberry recessiveness - Ivy Lane - 01-02-2017 10:28 AM Here is the present list of information about the Dominance Order of Confetti We have actually done so much work that almost all the colors are placed at this point in time. Apparently when you upload them to the KC forum, it creates a url. Although I would not do view image since that brings up the thumbnail instead, but do "open link in new tab" and grab the url that way. It doesn't say jpg or png or anything like that but it works just fine. I don't understand but I figure it's likea lightswitch. I don't have to to flip it, lol. if you have a problem though, no worries. I'll repost them inline for you. Reven probably will too as I see she does it if other folks have a problem. I'll repost the ones above for you now. I had left them before in case you wanted to try it again but I know you're pretty busy between breeeding and auctions. Repost of Ivy's post above with the images showing Here is the present list of information about the Dominance Order of Confetti We have actually done so much work that almost all the colors are placed at this point in time. I have a ton of records i have been keeping let's start with grape : Ok here's my analysis of stuff known to date on chart 1 chart 1 Mom Dania Dania's Mom Gorgeous Brat shows Orangeberry Dania's Dad Grape Soda shows Grapeberry Dania shows Orangeberry so her hid comes from Dad, either Grapeberry or more recessive Known: Orangeberry dom to Grapeberry (chart on Orangeberry thread) Dad Myinburne Dad's Mom Tealia shows Tealberry Dad's Dad "Pet Quality - Casey" shows Cocoberry Dad Myinburne shows Appleberry Known: Appleberry Dom to Tealberry (Saga updates 7/16/16) therefore Dad's Dad hides Appleberry and Myinburne hides Tealberry or more recessive from Mom New born kitten of Dania and Myinburne shows Grapeberry Grapeberry is known to be recessive to Appleberry Grapeberry is known to be recessive to Orangeberry So both Dania and Myinburne threw their hids Known on Grapeberry Saga 12/14/16 Grapeberry rec to Appleberry Saga, no update hist Grapeberry rec to Blueberry Saga 7/11/16 GrapeBerry rec to LemonBerry forum Grapeberry rec to Orangeberry Saga 7/16/16 GrapeBerry rec to PlumBerry Saga 11/23/16 GrapeBerry dom to Pinkberry Known on Tealberry Saga 7/16/16 Tealberry rec to Appleberry Saga 11/29/15 Tealberry rec to Cherryberry Saga 11/1/16 Tealberry rec to Lemonberry Saga 5/12/16 Tealberry dom Limeberry Saga 1/29/16 Tealberry rec Orangeberry Saga 11/1/15 Tealberry rec Plumberry Both Grapeberry and Tealberry are recessive to Appleberry Both Grapeberry and Tealberry are recessive to Lemonberry Both Grapeberry and Tealberry are recessive to Plumberry Without knowing more about Grapeberry or Tealberry, it is possible a Grapeberry could hide behind the Teal on dad's side and the Grape on mom's side could hide someting more recessive. Odds are the Grapeberry is the hid on mom but would need to be confirmed. You'd have to pop the hid on the Grapeberry to see if it is Teal for it to be a proof of Grape against Teal. Problem with the average being about 2 maybe 3 confetti kids per 120 day cycle, you don't always pop the hid. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Chart 2 Right Side Sapphire Shows Blueberry Clark shows Cocoberry They produce Luc Blue showing Grapeberry Known Saga, no update hist Grapeberry rec to Blueberry Both parents threw their hids. One parent has Grapeberry hid and the other parent has Grapeberry or more recessive hid Prism Beauty shows Cocoberry Luc Blue shows Grapeberry Their baby Luc Prism shows Appleberry Known: Saga 12/14/16 Grapeberry rec to Appleberry So Appleberry is the hid of the Mom Prism Beauty and will hide either Grapeberry or something more recessive. RE: Confetti Grapeberry recessiveness - Kayla Woodrunner - 01-18-2017 04:19 PM Arwen proved Grapeberry recessive to Appleberry on the Appleberry thread back in 10/2/16 I am copying her charts for the proofs down below but with my analysis. My analysis isn't better than hers -- just easier for me to understand. This way both sets of analysis are up because some might find hers easier to understand. Appleberry Dominant to Grapeberry Chart 1 Mom's Mom Marge shows Coco Mom's Dad Homer shows Coco Mom Zepa shows Cocoberry Dad's Mom Marge shows Coco Dad's Dad Homer shows Coco Dad Ashes shows Orangeberry Zepa and Ashes share the same parents. Proves Mom Charm has something hid recessive to Apple because both parents threw their hids. So Mom has Grape or more recessive hid ![]() RE: Confetti Grapeberry recessiveness - Kayla Woodrunner - 01-20-2017 03:11 PM Does anyone know Sapphire? Looking at Ivy's Imgur site, I noticed she had this child. Sunny bonnet had Teal hid, an earlier proof on the same site. Boudecia likely has Teal hid given the way the furs are lining up and she has her dad Aubergine's hid Grapeberry which would finish off the proofs for Grapeberry. But it would be nice to get a visual. If someone knows Sapphire, could they ask her to check on Boudecia's babies for a popped Teal and post the chart? ![]() |
