New Kitty owner

Hello...I just purchased a sweet new kitty, however, there was no real instruction. I had no idea there was so much to it. But I love him already and want to keep and care for him..I've learned about the feeding and all, and I'm not going to breed him..He's just my little pet. But I cannot find out where to buy the food he needs! I've looked everywhere. I clicked on the map site, but it wouldn't work. He's only a day old, but I don't want to run out of time and he get sick. I would really appreciate some guidance. Thanks.

The main store is on a sim named KittyCatS if you put that in the map inworld it should take you right there. There is almost always a CSR to help out in front of the store as well. I am not inworld right now but when I log in I will also send you a landmark.

I've found you dont always get an instruction sheet from the aftermarket resellers.
Often times they are just a cart parked in the middle of a hundred other carts.


"COULDA SWORN I SAW AN ALBINO WHITE RUSSIAN OVER HERE,
WAIT..WAS IT THAT CART?? NO WAIT, MAYBE IT WAS THIS CART!
OMG! IS THIS THE RIGHT SIM?????


So many folks buy a kitteh not knowing what they are getting themselves into.
Sometimes they click BUY and leave the poor cat sitting on the shelf as the
buyer teleports home!
Then they start digging through their inventory mumbling things like:


"COULDA SWORN I BOUGHT A CAT, THEY TOOK MY MONEY!"


Then realise they have to manually TAKE the cat off the rack.
Same with food. No idea these things eat until they start pleading with you...


PLEEEEEEEEEESE FEED ME AND PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEE.


Next thing ya know its the indian blanket with a thermometer in its mouth.


"WHAT?
FIRST IT DEMANDS I PLAY BALL, NOW IT WANTS TO EAT???
THESE CATS ARE HIGH MAINTENANCE!"


Over at our shoppe 'Der Kitteh Mill' we recommend the noob KittyCats owners
read the instruction sheet first.
In fact, I think we whip one at yer head when you walk in the front door.


" SO I DONT HAVE TO BUY MILK, I CAN JUST PET IT A HALF HOUR A DAY, RIGHT?"


Suuuuuuuuuure, just wait till you own 30.
These things are like furry bundles of CRACK!

The only thing which does NOT come with the Landmark to the Main KittyCatS! Store are the cats, themselves.

Lol...you're response made me laugh, because its sooo true. Fortunately, I had no problem rezzing it and I'm already having fun with him. And I'm really tickled there is so much more to owning one! I love animals and now I have my little cyber kitty. I have the time, I need to care for it properly, I just want to learn how, and I am....little by little. I appreciate any input that will make me a successful kitty owner.

I think the KittyCats should come with a warning. Warning: Completely adorable KittyCats are highly addictive and it is extremely difficult to have just one.
