RE: New Eye: Flowerchild Dylan
recessive to Odyssey Bellini

As you can see from the previous post Skipper hides FlowerChild Dylan
I bred him to Ciara who shows Odyssey Bellini and their offspring is Odyssey Bellini.
Since we already knows that FlowerChild Byrds is dominant to Odyssey Bellini Skipper must have passed his hidden FlowerChild Dylan making it recessive to the Odyssey Bellini.

This is great! Cuts the range way down. Now I'm really glad I didn't open a test versus jade.

I popped the two grotto boxes I made months ago. I had made 3 and first hid Marble Magic, Dylan was indicating more dominant at the time so I never bothered, just put them to one side in case.
At least we are finally getting some significant movement on this eye.

RE: New Eye: Flowerchild Dylan
recessive to Galaxy Sun

Napoleon is a pure FlowerChild Dylan
we can see in post#10 of this thread that Skipper hides FC Dylan pulled by Grey Matter.
Ricarda has Light Wash eyes which are her mothers hidden as we already know that Skipper hides FC Dylan.
Since Light Wash are known to be recessive to FlowerChild Byrds Skipper must have passed FC Dylan to Ricarda and this was pulled pure on Napoleon via a backbreed.

Therefore when Napoloeon bred to Nani the second time and a Galaxy Sun was the result the baby can only hide FlowerChild Dylan because Napoleon is proven to be pure.

This means last weeks baby likely hides Dry Olive as that was the only potential hider I could see in Nani's pedigree from way back.

Napoleon will go against a grotto next week Smile

RE: New Eye: Flowerchild Dylan
Bred my pure FC Dylan to a grotto and got FC Dylan.
While the mother looks like she *might* be pure I can't be 100% as I didn't breed her so can't know for sure that Peanut & Perceval both hide grotto.
Posting Azures full pedigree as well for info, based on Abraia's age Grotto was the 3rd most recessive eye at the time, Dry Olive was not widespread so unlikely to hide, however without seeing Abraias pedigree further back its impossible to know if theres any Exotic Breeze in there, but as I said opening the baby to check. Looks good though Smile Lovely old line I just can't see far enough to know if its old enough.

Holy Canoli you've PLACED it!
Thank you so much Barry!
Straight-forward proof: the soul whisper pulls the hidden grotto out from under a FlowerChild Dylan cat Barney.
FlowerChild Dylan is PLACED dominant to Grotto and Recessive to Galaxy Sun.
