New Eye: FlowerChild Byrds
Congratulations to Alex Baroque (alexguarujasp Resident) for discovering the new FlowerChild Byrds eye! He is not familiar with the forum and so I am posting these pictures - which he took - with his permission.

RE: New Eye: FlowerChild Byrds
This is an unusual post for the Breeding section. But this is a FlowerChild Byrds:

"Turn! Turn! Turn!" by the Byrds

I figured not everyone would get the reference. Callie's going philosophical, zen, and a bit sentimental on us. Smile

Gosh I haven't heard that song in a while. Kinda apt after all the difficulties last year.

RE: New Eye: FlowerChild Byrds
The hubby and I managed to actually get a 'new' trait lol
From the looks of it right off it is looking like FlowerChild Byrds is going to be Dom to Jade.
I have yet to get anything but Jade from Herr Doctor and company, but of course I am going to pop this baby open and pull the hidden.

RE: New Eye: FlowerChild Byrds
Posting for Tazzy, not sure it really adds anything since indications are that this eye is a bit more dominant than her puller but here it is Smile

RE: New Eye: FlowerChild Byrds
Thank you Shannon.
The first pedigree establishes that the SweetCat Wowsa named Macaroni hides the FlowerChild Byrds eye. We now know that Macaroni can ONLY throw genesis or the FlowerChild Byrds.
The second pedigree shows the same SweetCat Wowsa being mated with Magnificat who shows Oceania eye and must hide the Tapestry Royale eye. The kitten OS displays the Tapestry Royale. We know that it did not come from Macaroni, who MUST have thrown his FlowerChild Byrds, which was covered by the TapRoyale.
Ergo FlowerChild Byrds is recessive to Tapestry Royale.
