I'm so happy that I finally got one of my own, even if she's not a shoulder-rider!
(Based on his OS and my experience with this line, I believe the Bengal Blue is hiding Toyger Caramel, but I haven't directly tested him.)

Q: Has anyone else gotten Tufted OS from their new Tigers?
I'm wondering if we might have some new ears. This is the second of the new Tigers that has given me a Tufted OS. I guess there's only one way to find out! :-)

Can you provide proof of purity of the Bengal - Blue please. Impossible to update charts without it I'm afraid. If you can't show its pure then only way to be certain is to pull the hid from the Lavender

Oh, true. Duh! I was so happy to show it off that I wasn't thinking. I've been breeding that line for months/generations, but did buy at least one of the original kitties. From my experience the only fur that line is hiding is Toyger - Caramel, and he is hiding it (pulled once with another Bengal Blue from the same line), but I haven't directly tested him. Maybe later.

I have been thinking that there may be a new ears also, cuz I have 3 starters threw me Scotty fold ( all are bred with solid scotty) in the short period.
It would be more exciting if we can find more new traits besides the tiger furs and so on.
I cross my fingers for the most reccesive new ears !!

Tiger! - Lavender is recessive to Bengal Black.

My other pair tonight showed Tiger! - Chartreuse is dominant to Bengal Black - but we already have a proof slightly higher up the dominance chart for that one already.

Quick run down on Eleanors proof posted above
The Second pedigree shows that Gilbert hides Tiger! - Lavender
The first proof shows him breeding with a Bengal - Black and producing a Bengal - Black baby therefore he passed his hidden fur not his Genesis thus making Tiger - Lavender the hidden fur and recessive to Bengal - Black
