Toyger - Tawny lies between Burmilla - Chocolate Silver shaded and Toyger - Caramel

Illuminatra requested the Tawny photographed next to a Silver.

Here it is - taken using CalWL. The Tawny is natural shade, the Silver is blush.

Much like the shading of the Chestnut Foxie compared to Cocoa Cream Foxie.

RE: Toyger - Tawny
Quick clarification for anyone wondering if Eleanor's Caramel is pure, the age of Channons Mum Smidgeon indicates her box was unpacked around July 8th, Burmilla Lilac was discovered on July 19th therefore the line can be considered pure as Channons parents were both bred before the discovery.
Just needs to be tested against Aussie Charcoal for placement.

RE: Toyger - Tawny
Aiden you have to pull the hidden on the New Born Kitten. We know that toyger tawny is dominant to toyger caramel and so the new born could hide either of those furs. If you can pull the toyger tawny out from behind the aussie charcoal then we will have the definitive proof. You've got the perfect tester cat there! The hitch is that you really need to pull with a toyger coal or a burmilla lilac shaded for the clearest result, as the hidden fur (whether tawny or caramel) will show. But, if you pull with a toyger caramel and get a toyger caramel back, it does mean that the toyger tawny does not hide as we know that tawny is dom to caramel.

The pedigrees of Noah and Colleem aren't necessary because we can see that Noah threw the aussie charcoal; we know that it couldn't have come from the other side of the pedigree as Rhaenys' toyger caramel can't hide the aussie charcoal and the Hell-o is the obvious source of the toyger tawny.

RE: Toyger - Tawny
Toyger - Tawny is placed dominant to Australian Mist - Charcoal

Gerri, Australian Mist - Charcoal, bred with Harrell, Toyger - Tawny
Their offspring was Jasmyne a Toyger - Tawny
She bred with Kieran, a Burmilla - Lilac Shaded
Their offspring was an Australian Mist - Charcoal.
Since Burmilla - Lilac Shaded is recessive to Australian Mist - Charcoal it must be Jasmynes hidden fur proving Toyger - Tawny is dominant to Australian Mist Charcoal and placed Smile
