Genesis - Pearl II is dominant to Genesis - Patch II



The Bandit II v Pearl II revealed Cocoa & White as hidden this week and the Mocha II v Patch II passed her Mocha II again.

Finally, I was starting to wonder if any of the cats hid a genesis fur.
So far I tested 9 cats, 2 gave results, 6 hid wrong and 1 is hanging onto her hid.
#10 is open now so hope he behaves a bit better

Mom Orva shows Flame III
Dad Misi shows Black Bengal
Baby shows Smokey IV, proving Genesis Smokey IV is recessive to Flame III

kept Mom Cundry to test against Coco IV
Birthed Coco IV boy
Have a seperate test in place Smokey II vs Smokey IV. 1st child @ 13 days.
menageried dad Marybell Smokey IV (I'll pull him back out if someone thinks I should do a different test but I can't think of one right now)

That bears out what I was getting. Flame III from my my Flame III Smokey IV pairing. Hadn't popped the baby yet though. Back to the drawing board and retask the cats

Still testing domino III against domino IV. First baby due to drop her box on sunday so hoping for a quick result.

Genesis - Mocha II is dominant to Genesis - Patch II

Rita is a Genesis - Pearl II who hides Genesis - Patch II (see earlier post)
Dudley is a Genesis - Mocha II
Their baby shows Genesis - Mocha II so must hide either Genesis - Pearl II or Genesis - Patch II
Since Genesis - Patch II is the more recessive of the 2 furs we can say that Mocha II must therefore be dominant to to Patch II.
I will of course pop the baby to check which fur is actually hidden.
Therefore confirmed order so far is

Genesis - Ginger II
Genesis - Mocha II
Genesis - Patch II

we have other confirmed results but this is the largest group so forms the base chart for these furs.

Oh I see what you mean by moving my chart to the Genesis Project because is before 2017. I just automatically put it under the thread that said Genesis furs. Do you want me to remove it completely from here to make it less confusing?

Grats Arwen! I'm glad for more forward progress. This means I'll be retiring a handful of cats.
Still no news on the Bandit. And it puts a priority on the interactions with Pearl2.
