Maine Coon - Silver Tortoiseshell recessiveness
Looked and couldn't find a thread for this fur at all so am starting one.

Saga says
- Maine Coon Silver Tortie is dominant to Balinese Lilac Lynx and recessive to Siamese Flame - more info, please.

I started testing this fur against Ocicat Chocolate and Bali Choc Lynx last year with no results. I had 2 boxes left from last years tests so I opened this one yesterday to check.
Mum Shira hid the Bali Choc proof shown below in anticipation one test is all will take Tongue Should this cat hide the Silver Tortie it will be placed.

This is the other. as you can see if the Bali Choc test reveals a hidden Silver the Oci Choc test will be irrelevant. I'll open this one if Ross hidden Aby Dark choc was passed.

RE: Maine Coon - Silver Tortoiseshell recessiveness
I have some information to share about this fur.
I got the father from Fuyutsuki Resident. She had breed a MC SilvTort with a BaliChocoLynx and had several offspring that showed MC SilvTort fur. She gave me a couple to test with a AustMist BlueMarble and I got the BaliChocoLynx to show.

So MC SilvTort fur is Dominate to BaliChocoLynx and there for anything below listed on the charts dominate to them too.

I will be working on where it stands with Burmese Flame next.

I did not have this fur and while out shopping, I found this little one. She has been birthed for testing her recessive.

Just noting here that we probably need to test MCST against Scottish shorthair as well.

Maine Coon - Silver Tortoiseshell is dominant to Ocicat Chocolate.
This places Maine Coon - Silver Tortoiseshell between Siamese Flame and Ocicat Chocolate.

Mom OliveOil shows Maine Coon - Silver Tortoiseshell
Dad GringoKK shows Burmilla - Black Silver Shaded

Proving Mom's hid and that Maine Coon - Silver Tortoiseshell is dominant to Ocicat Chocolate
