RE: New Pumpkin Eyes recessiveness
Pumpkin x Prismatic has produced a Prismatic-eyed test kitten. (TY Summerwind for collaborating on this project.)
Test kitten could hide either Pumpkin or Moss eye, though, so is unpacked to pull the hidden.

RE: New Pumpkin Eyes recessiveness
Pumpkin V Tapestry Organica produced Tap Org this week. I have popped the box to check the hid. I have never ever had anything but pumpkin from mum so I'll be surprised if anything else hides but you never know Tongue

Canelinha is up against a Prismatic boy next week so heres hoping between us we can nail this one down soon Smile Confesses that the prismatic has Burmese Flame so I'm actually hoping for Pumpkin on the fur lol. Not that hopeful since the Aby Cinamon is locked in as well but its a nice pulling project anyway Smile

Woot! Yes Arwen, hoping with our coordinated effort we all can nail this placement down soon.
So far we've had Tap Org pull every time on test mating (at my mat)... so my gut feeling is Pumpkin will likely place recessive.

I agree Hap, I'm hoping that my pumpkin is pure and baby passes the hidden fast, maybe we can get a couple more of these eyes and furs nailed down before the next collection throws more at us.

RE: New Pumpkin Eyes recessiveness
Pumpkin is proven recessive to Tapestry Organica.

'Acer' has Tap Organica eye shown, and is bred to 'Pumpkin' who has Pumpkin eye shown.
They produced a Test M kitten with Tap Organica eye shown.
The 'Test M Tap Organica' was then bred to Fall's Ember (Tranquility eye shown), and produced a Pumpkin-eyed kitten.
Since Tranquility eye color is known to be recessive to both Tap Org and Pumpkin, the Pumpkin eye had to come from 'Test M Tap Organica', thus is his hidden/rec. eye.

RE: New Pumpkin Eyes recessiveness
My Pumpkin V Prismatic produced this baby today. Shes already unpacked for checking, I'm 99% sure my pumpkin is pure but since I can't prove it 100% I'm popping the hid. Based on this and Haps test its looking good for recessive to Prismatic Smile
This is where I find my pumpkin hides Ody Bellini, lol.

RE: New Pumpkin Eyes recessiveness
Well, my Prismatic-eyed test cat has revealed that she hid Moss instead of Pumpkin.
So, back we go. Try try again.
I currently have two pairs set up to produce more test boxes of Prismatic x Pumpkin.

I'm hoping Arwen's kitty comes through for us with a proof. I'll pick up these pairs asap once that happens. Wink
