RE: New To Breeding, Help!
From the FAQ (stickied at the top of the General form)

Quote:My cats won't make a box. What's wrong?

First, read the manual.

To breed both cats need:
100% Love
at least 75% Happiness
at least 25% Energy
less than 25% Hungry
both partners awake
both in the Cattery, or both in-world
if in-world, set home properly and ensure the home positions are within the set range
if in-world, in the correct land group which allows them to rez a box
if in-world, there must be at least one prim available on the parcel
If you're out of prims, free some up and wait a while. The cats should try again in a bit.

If you're still stumped, contact KittyCatS support for assistance.

RE: New To Breeding, Help!
When two 100%-love cats don't make their box, for days on end, it's usually an Energy issue. He's too tired ... then , he's wakeful and she's too tired ... etc. I remember having to learn this after waiting a long time ... Usually when one just has a few cats, one has got the other factors covered (plenty happiness, plenty food).

You can (and sometimes should) wake up one of the partners to synchronize their Energy level. Say if he's sleeping and has energy at 75, and she's awake and has energy at 50 ... it's okay to wake him up and then cuddle to bring up happiness, and they'll do the deed.
Ideally, get their energy levels as close as possible (i.e., try to wake the sleeper when energy is close to the same as its mate's).
