2017 Breedables Expo Call for donations - Breeders
Dear breeders
The 2017 RFL Home and Garden Expo runs from 19th May to 4th June, and like last year, we also have a sim dedicated to breedables of all sorts. The Breedables sim has it's own events theater, and we plan to hold auctions there to benefit RFL throughout the Expo.
The Expo as a whole raised over 4 million L$ in 2016, and more than a million was raised through breedables auctions alone.
How can you be part of this gigantic event and raise money for cancer research?
We ask that you donate one or more of your breedables to be auctioned at the Breedables Expo sim in the event period, and donate all proceeds from that auction to RFL. The auctions will be performed by auctioneers from the breedables communities, to ensure that the auctioneers have the necessary competence to sell your objects well.
What can you donate?
First and foremost breedables. We hope that you will donate breedables of all kinds, preferably but not necessarily something out of the ordinary, like couture breeds, collectibles and rare traits.
Accessories are also welcome if they are one of a kind or a very limited edition.
If you donate something really special, like full collections, giants etc, we will sell these at the special "One of a kind" auction at the end of the Expo. Objects for this auction will be either one of a kind special editions, collections, or extremely rare items. These will be displayed with bid boards in the theater during the Expo. The final bid on the boards will be the opening bid at the live auction. In the rare case that no bids are given at the live auction, the highest bid board bidder will win the object.
