My fiance Archer's kitten Sirena had Ocean Puff, so far when she was still able to breed and her kittens have had no issues passing on the Ocean Puff fur unless they're paired with a Sunshine Puff then Sunshine overwrites them 75% of the time. the other 25% is an Ocean Puff.

So I decided to see if Wave the II, My lovely NuMoo boy was hiding le Ocean Puff... Well he DID !! Here's my proof !!

So I was doing a pedigree for a kitty belonging to Candi Roecastle, and I think I may have sussed out a proof that Ocean Puff is recessive to Tonkie Lilac Tortie! Grab a snack and go to the bathroom, this'll be a long ride:

So digging way back to see what was in this kitty's background, I found the Tonkie vs Ocean matchup:

You can see both Peppi and Pepperl have the potential to hide CCOP or its hider (which looks to be Toyger Blue).

Bjorn Blue Magic is Russian Black hiding Cheetah Maltese Black Chinchilla or more recessive (we'll come back to him in a moment):


Ms.Raven Magic is Russian Black and appears to be hiding Dream Puff, though we can't see further back so that's just a guess:


Here's where it all comes together:

• Zadie + Bjorn = Zola: Russian Black from Bjorn, hiding something from Zadie...
• Raven + Bjorn = Stankie: Russian Black, hiding ??? (my bet is on the CMBC from Bjorn)
• Lastly, Zola + Stankie = Skylar: Ocean Puff! The only place I can see that Ocean Puff coming from is Zadie, meaning Tonkie Lilac Tortie hid Ocean Puff.
  

I suppose it's POSSIBLE that the Ocean Puff came from 3+ generations back behind Raven's grandfathers (whom we can't see behind), but it doesn't seem probable. Of all the history I can see, Zadie is the only point in this lineage that ever had Ocean Puff...

This looks interesting. Occam's Razor (the simplest explanation is the best) suggests that the Ocean Puff came from Sweet Zadie via one of her grandparents. However, we also must know what Ms. Raven Magic's hidden fur is to call this a proof. Since her father is hiding Dream Puff or more recessive, her shown Russian Black had to have come from mom and her hidden is dad's hidden (from under his Scottish Shorthair Blue & White), but we don't yet know what her hidden fur from dad is - Dream Puff *or more recessive*. Ocean Puff is recessive to Dream Puff, therefore it could logically be the hidden. So you're absolutely right - it is possible to have come from behind Ms. Raven Magic's paternal grandfather, and we'll need to see proof that it didn't.
Also, to be processed as a proof, we need to see (a gyazo of) the original KittyCats! pedigree, as the kitties' ID numbers are available to reference. I have analyzed multi-level proofs where a kitty name was changed along the way - the only way to know what you're truly seeing is to be able to compare the ID numbers. If you and/or Candi can get that info, fantastic! Thank you Jess! :-)

Unfortunately it seems Ms. Raven has already been menageried, and I don't know the ownership of the cats beyond Stankie and Zola, so I guess this is a dead end.
