Now that my Kitty is PermaCat, I'd like to know whether it is possible to remove the steampunk hat and insignia, and how ? Thanks in advance.

Hi there!
You can remove the hat and collar through the cat's menu. Click the cat > Prims > Clothes > select/deselect what items you wish.
Note the insignia on the side of the cat can not be removed, it is part of the costume.
