i just purchased kitty dollars... i went to buy a confetti kitty and it says i have 0 kitty dollars...

The Kitty Dollar Balance is K$ earned from sending cats and boxes to the Menagerie. The Kitty Dollar Bonus is K$ purchased directly via gift cards or added to your account through the Cattery Dock.

Just to add a little info to what AlleyCat said. Confetti cats are one of our Menagerie Cats, like the Tigers and Giraffes. Menagerie cats can not be purchased with KittyDollars that are purchased with L$ or gift cards. Menagerie Cats can only be gotten with Menagerie Kitty Dollars, gotten from sending cats to Menagerie. Each cat sent in gives you 50 kitty dollars, so a Confetti Cat costs 100 cats/boxes sent to Menagerie.

Neither response catches the disconnect. The issue has been there since the feature was introduced: the page is unclear, especially when taken into consideration with the wording elsewhere (Such as on the Dock).
Since the web page is never gonna change, let's take a different approach. "The Dock has a bug. Instead of selling 'Kitty Dollars' it should be selling 'Kitty Bonus Dollars'" There, problem solved!

Once again, somebody in chat comes in baffled that they purchased Kitty Dollars and tried to buy a menagerie cat. This happens over and over again. This person read the forum. Tried to get the information. People who are new do not understand the difference between Kitty Dollars and Menagerie dollars.
Could somebody Please add the following line to the Menagerie Cats page: "Purchased Kitty Dollars Cannot be used to buy Menagerie Cats". Preferably in Red lettering.
