LOL that is an awesome shot, Winter! I haven't seen that giant cat since the Greenies packed up their sim and left SL in 2008! I'm glad there's still one around... even if it scared (or inspired?) your kitty.

Starax had shifted from primwork to sculpties under an assumed name.
The guys an artiste, wonder what hes up to now?

Oh man, I wish I'd thought to grab the giant kitty! I bought the big frog princess with the kissing animation instead.
I have a few other things that were dropped on me at the sim closing party. It was an amazing place, full of creativity and fun.
I thought they all left for one of the Open Sim type worlds after the homestead price increase fiasco... but don't quote me on that.
They were exceptionally talented people. I don't recognise the name Starax - I assume he was the creator of much of the Rezzable/Greenies content and other SL awesomeness?
I hope he and his friends found a new outlet for their creativity and talent.
ps: Again, *love* the pic Winter - made me laugh!

Back in the olden days,
when most of us were still trying to figure out how to link two cubes together,
Starax was taking prims and whipping up stuff like this...

He then took a huge pile of his stuff,
and created a magic wand that would temp rez them at will.
The Starax wand, which was non transferable by the way,
cost 12k lindens around eight years ago,
an unheard of price for an item back then.
Of course, it could create a tidal wave or a herd of buffalo running by.
A very rare, very cool item.
I do wand demo's on occasion, usually out in a sandbox somewhere.
The things it rezzes are very prim heavy.
My copy of Starax's DROWNED weighs in around 500 prims.
Stop by sometime, I'll show you some cool, old school, stuff.
