Kitty cat of the month - Shelli Teebrook - 03-30-2014 09:44 PM Can someone please give a clear answer on this, how many generations must you have breed eg can i buy a pair and get a kitten and that be classed as self bred or must i have bred the parents as well? for the kitty to register does it need to be unpacked or will a box still count ? can a box i have bred prior to the month qualify or does it need to be bred during the month ?Cheers RE: Kitty cat of the month - Tad Carlucci - 03-30-2014 10:56 PM The box is good enough. The ONLY requirements are the traits EXACTLY match those in the Kitty-of-the-month posting. Yes, it's possible to get the box from a pair of starters (although, usually, VERY unlikely), no additional generations, or anything else, is needed .. just produce the box, however you can. RE: Kitty cat of the month - Winter Phoenix - 03-31-2014 08:16 PM I successfully was the only breeder of a perfect kitty of the month once. Two days after the expiration date!!! Instead of winning a free jewel, I got a big boatload of SQUAT! Charlie Brown once said: "48 hours is the difference between GLORY and GOAT!" Charlie spake the truth.
